Programme Manager JOB DESCRIPTION

We require an experienced Programme Manager to assist in the delivery of strategic and tactical technology and business change initiatives.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for leading enterprise wide project initiatives and coordinating the delivery of related large scale IT and business projects. The successful candidate would be expected to have Programme and Project Management experience, with excellent communication skills, leadership ability and a track record of project delivery. The incumbent will also be able to demonstrate experience in organizational awareness, financial management, project governance and vendor management. Technical project experience is critical to the role and the successful applicant will also be required to demonstrate knowledge in the following; Stakeholder management, Team management, Scope and schedule management, Change Management and Risk Management.

We need the candidates with a rich experience in Project Management on the IT INFRA management with high level understanding/knowledge of the technologies like Citrix, Windows, AD, O365 etc.

  • High level technology Knowledge is must as it's a IT project manager role.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, resources modelling, and coordination of people and resources in a Matrix environment.
  • Strong project management skills including project planning and organization, risk management, monitoring progress and objectives, results tracking, and motivating employee teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communications are essential for this position.
  • Project Management Support: training, tools, and templates to support project management methodology; management of select projects
  • Portfolio Management: project and resource tracking and reporting
  • Demand Management: project intake and governance review

Personal skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 9-10 years' project experience in either the IT, Financial Services or Insurance sector is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate peers and senior managers in partner organizations.
  • Be articulate, confident and assertive.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experienced in managing multiple large scale projects in a multicultural environment
  • Process driven with a focus on quality and product delivery.
  • Global corporate experience would be beneficial.
  • Be customer focused with an ability to liaise and communicate effectively with business (non-IT) and technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work in teams, meet tight deadlines and possess enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new disciplines.
  • Be a strong independent contributor and be able to manage and lead high performing teams
  • Third level degree/Graduation in IT or Business
  • A recognized certification in Project, Programme or Portfolio Management
