Production Engineer - Paris

For this role, you should have at least 6 recent years of experience in IT with a focus on production engineering or similar.
Your role
* Tracking and monitoring backups
* Troubleshooting and problems (support level 1 and 2)
* Climbing when necessary to outsourcer or publisher, monitoring resolution
* Coordinating and implementing operations and changes into production
* Writing improved operating procedures (in English)
* Monitoring of the quality of service
* Installation and deployment of applications
* Reporting to the management on services delivery by operations, support and provider
* Preparing of follow up requests to external suppliers and internal teams
* Specifying operation requirements (monitoring, logs, compliance with production tools and process)
* Advising/Feed Back to Design authority on platforms design
* Participation in the definition of system architecture
* Implementation of PKI Solution to the Institution
Your knowledge and qualifications
* Bachelor Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of 6 years of professional IT experience.
* Minimum 5 years of IT work experience as Production Engineer or similar role.
* Experience in automated deployments using Jenkins
* Experience with ITIL methodologies and the acquisition of the relevant certification would be considered a strong plus
* Experience on the following is required:
o Operating Systems: Red hat Linux, Ubuntu, Windows
o Databases: MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL Server
o Application Servers: JBOSS, Tomcat
o Clustering: RedHat, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle
o LDAP
o Networks
o Virtualization
