Description

The Market Research Analyst supports the EMEA Market Research Manager in providing key insight to Integrated Brand Value Teams (IBVTs) along with actionable recommendations, derived from best in class market research, to inform business decisions on an EMEA level.

Working in close collaboration with the other members of the BI team (EMEA Market Research Manager, Business Insights Manager & Business Analytics and Forecasting Manager), and external partners, delivers an added value service to the internal customer. S upports the Immunology brands' business imperatives in an integrated manner, the Market Research Analyst will recommend and deliver relevant Market Research activities for the Immunology teams

MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:

  • Coordinates and ensures the right usage and maintenance of key Market Research (MR) outcomes and recommendations; Ensures that across therapeutic area/brands, MR plans are optimised and updated to meet business objectives with the right balance of methodologies, timings, and costs. Integrates outputs of key research projects into digestible reports to maximise the use of insight within decision making.
  • Partners with the Business Intelligence colleagues to ensure that insights synthesized from research are translated into compelling, actionable recommendations for the brand teams.
  • Networks with country BI experts to ensure regional insight is delivered and local insight is collected and reported to regional colleagues.
  • Introduces relevant MR methods based on technical knowledge and skills.
  • Pro-actively translates business needs into relevant market research objectives.
  • Recommends, and implements the most appropriate primary research methodologies to meet objectives, with best balance of accuracy, time, and cost.
  • Oversees execution of primary research. Is compliant, and ensures suppliers also comply, in relation to all relevant codes of practice, guidelines and SOPs.
  • Identifies and leverages most robust secondary research sources that address knowledge gaps.
  • Generates and presents customer and marketplace insights on a regional scale to shape and influence business strategies; including the creation of insights decks and easy to use reference portals for existing research projects
  • Assesses, selects and manages MR suppliers towards high quality data, conclusions and recommendations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in healthcare primary Market Research within the pharmaceutical industry and/or agency side.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and data visibility skills
  • A background and understanding of science and commercial marketing
  • An ability to challenge the status quo, and recommend insight-driven actions. Pro-actively looking for innovative MR techniques that build competitive advantage.
