Process Specialist (Documentation, Pensions)

I have a new requirement for a process specialist to work with one of our highly reputable pensions clients based out of Reading.

Main Responsibilities:

YOu will be working with one of the clients Administration's central services teams (the Administration Services Group - "ASG").

One of the objectives of ASG is to maintain the administration department's suite of standard documentation which includes:

  • Standard letters
  • Checklists
  • Standard procedures

You will work as part of the ASG team and a larger cross department team established to assist in the review and integration project. Your will report to the Project Owner, the Head of ASG.

As the Process Documentation Specialist your areas of responsibility will include:

  • Existing documentation review

Review of the existing documentation to produce a single set of standard procedures that we can use across all offices.

Different procedures have developed in different offices and these need to be integrated to produce one set. This will involve talking with different offices and areas of the business to ensure that the processes are compliant and consistent with other areas practices.

You will be expected to take an active part in the production of the new documentation.

  • Management of project

Act as the project manager for the project and so organise the other members of the team.

  • Future developments

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of Process Documentation reviews
  • Previous experience in pensions industry is a MUST HAVE!
  • Experience of having project management skills a distinct advantage
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels
  • Ability to write in Plain English
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities.
  • Able to take ownership and responsibility for own work.
  • IT proficient in MS Office beneficial
  • Ability to create and manage documentation.
  • Able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Flexible approach to work pressures.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Strong belief in adhering to deadlines and quality service.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and build long term working relationships at all levels, both internal and external of the organisation.
  • Able to recognise the need for a customer focused approach to their delivery both in terms of quality and exceeding customer expectations.
