Description
We are looking for a Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications.You will be part of a development software team that works in the middleware. Developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE applications while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, which can go from concept and design to development and testing. The position is suitable to a backend developer who is able to work in an Agile or Waterfall methodology with multiple colleagues, but in an independent mode in order to:
- Provide estimates for tasks
- Provide solutions/improvements with new technologies, bug fixes, or simply to automate
- Write well designed, efficient and testable code
- Use design patterns and use already existing solutions
- Make code reviews
- Write documentation
- Give handovers for your colleagues of what you developed
You must have a good sense of communication as our middleware team works with other teams to make sure all software developed is correctly deployed and functional. Moreover, the developer must be capable of running the needed tests to deliver high-volume, low-latency and critical applications which can include:
- Unit tests
- Integration tests
- Stress tests
- Last, but not least it is important to be an organized person, to be able to prepare meetings, presentations, schedule tests or deployment dates, timesheet, and other administrative tasks
