Tax - Lead - Leadership - Manager - Life Fund Taxation - Fund Administration - Fund Accounting - MCH/Equity-e

Assistant Taxation Manager required by a large Investment Bank, based in London to work within the Life Tax Oversight team. You will be responsible for ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly life tax deliverables are completed accurately and on time. The role entails oversighting the work of other internal teams. You will ensure that all oversight tasks are completed in line with the service level agreements, all procedures have been followed and all errors have been remediated. You will also be responsible for managing staff workload and development.

Skills/Knowledge required:

  • Experience of working in life fund taxation/fund administration/fund accounting or a similar environment.
  • MCH/Equity-e knowledge preferred.
  • Lead and motivate staff.
  • Strong Communications skills
  • Co-ordinate and implement training and development activities for individuals and the team, taking specific responsibility for the development of Senior Administrators.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support to all staff on technical, professional and client issues.
  • Deputise for the Taxation Manager when required
  • Exercises Sound Judgement
  • Drives Execution
