Senior Scala/Spark Developer
B2B Contract based in Warsaw, Poland

Allen Recruitment is currently assisting one of the fastest growing financial services banking groups in Europe source a number of Scala/Spark Developers for a new development project based out of their IT hub in Poland.
This is a major Big Data development programme and will suit Developers with at least 4 years Scala/Spark experience.
Engagement will be on a B2B basis with an attractive compensation on offer. The successful candidate will be able to work onsite in Warsaw or Gdynia (with possibility to work remotely a couple of days a week).
Please only apply if you are a commercially expertise in Big Data Spark with Scala development skills. Unfortunately, there is no Visa sponsorship on offer, so applicants must be eligible to work and live in Poland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build distributed BigData solutions to process massive amounts of data (both structured and unstructured) in near Real Time
- Leverage Scala and Spark to enrich and transform corporate data to enable searching, data visualization, and advanced analytics
- Work closely with DevOps, QA and Product Management teams in a Continuous Delivery environment
The minimum requirements:
Min 4 years years of experience in Scala and Spark (Spark SQL and Spark Data Frames)
Advanced command of English
