Description

Information Security Manager. Dublin City Centre. 18 month contract.

You will be reporting to the System Manager and will be responsible for the information security strategy and the design and implementation of the information security management system.

You will be the information security referent for the subcontractors and providers and assist the System Architect, to ensure security issues are efficiently addressed during the technical design of the system. You will work closely with the Governance Risks and Compliance manager for the activities related to ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications and GDPR compliance. You will participate to weekly project meetings and to the technical committee with all the involved stakeholders.

Your main activities include:

  • Create and manage security strategy and policies
  • Oversee information security audits, whether by performed by organization or third-party personnel
  • Organize and coordinate the ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications with the involved stakeholders, including assessments, audits and intrusion testing
  • Organize and coordinate the activities needed for RGDP compliance with the involved stakeholders
  • Review technical system design to anticipate weaknesses and identify possible improvement
  • Assess technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement
  • Design and coordinate the implementation of the security management system, including the identity and access management system, the technical directories and the security keys management
  • Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment
  • Serve as a focal point of contact for the project teams, the stakeholders and the client
  • Manage the configuration of physical security, disaster recovery and data backup systems and coordinate their validation
  • Manage issues related to information security

Skills and professional background

PhD (Eng.) or similar, you have a strong information security background, with deep knowledge of cyber security, and show deep interest in technical innovation and data management. You have demonstrated your ability to handle the complexity and understand the business drivers and the security issues of an operational IT system and how they can be impacted by the system design and performance.

You have at least 15 years professional experience in the field of Information System and at least 5 with direct responsibility on information security. You have participated with a key role related to security to complex system integration projects and be involved in the security policies design and implementation. You have conducted or actively participated to the certification processes related to security and to the GDPR compliance and coordinated the required audits and intrusion tests.
