Technology Expert (DEVOPS Engineer)
Templeton & Partners is looking for a Technology Expert - DevOps Engineer to join one of our clients in Brussels, Belgium (with occasional meetings in Luxembourg) for a 12 months contract.
We're looking for and Technology Expert - DevOps Engineer experienced in the field of the most recent DevOps and Cloud technologies
Some of your key activities will include:
- Set-up the development environment in the cloud so that the developer can develop in the cloud.
- Facilitate the continuous delivery of our application by using automated tools.
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with our data centre team.
- Promote the usage of Devops methodologies for all the projects.
About the ideal candidate:
Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:
- Practical experience proving the capability to execute the tasks described above.
- Knowledge to building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure
- Knowledge of continuous delivery and tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, Git, etc..)
- Proven experience in both Java, and WebLogic, Linux
- Proven experience in at least 1 programming language (Python, Bash, Perl, etc.)
- Knowledge of Clouds platform (ie Amazon EC) and tools (ie: Docker)
- Very good knowledge of at least one automation tool, such as Ansible, Chef, and/or Puppet, Kubernetes
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.
- Good knowledge of English and French
