Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK.
We are currently recruiting Management Accountant to be based out of Worcester for an initial period of 4 months with possible extension.
Job Title: Management Accountant.
Location: Worcester.
Contract Length: 4 months with possible extension.
The Maximum Daily Rate: £300 per day.
Outside IR35.
Minimum Requirement:
Line management experience is essential
Line management responsible for a direct team of 4 HEOs and 1 EO.
Responsibility to produce the month end reports for APHA.
Responsible for ensuring that the month end process is undertaken in line with timetable.
Work with the finance business partners to ensure the business understands the financials to make good commercial decisions and drive down costs.
Maintain a suitable trail for budget delegations, spend limits, procurement considerations, segregation of duties, compliance with standards and governance requirements.
Ensure financial information provided to managers is robust to enable them to make informed decisions.
General Ledger, Oracle and Financial Systems, High level of IT skills (excel to intermediate level as a minimum).
Full membership of CCAB accounting institutes, CIMA or recognised equivalent and compliance with Continuing Professional Development requirement of their professional accountancy body.
