Description

Infrastructure Architect/Network Architect - SAN/NAS/VMWARE/Storage

Length - 1 year + an additional year extension

Rate €580 per day

A leading Pulbic sector organisation in Brussels, Belgium now has a long term contract for an infrastructure Architect with the following skills;

  • Functional and non-functional requirements elicitation and analysis
  • Contribution to roadmaps and other architecture governance
  • Build of conceptual designs (solutions identification/comparison, impacts/prerequisites, total cost of ownership estimation, target operating model ...)
  • Inception & review/validation of statements of works for service suppliers
  • Architecture support to changes and projects
  • Build of high level designs (HLD) and detailed designs (DD)
  • Review/validation of HLD and DD from third parties
  • Technical coordination in support to PM
  • Contribution to PoC, prototypes, solutions verifications & validations

Technical requirements:

  • SAN, NAS technologies (EMC, HP)
  • Fiber switching
  • Storage replication (SRDF/Metro, RecoverPoint ...)
  • Backup/Restore hardware and software (Data domains, Networker, Veeam ...)
  • Cloud storage

IT Platform

  • Virtualization (VMware solutions suites: vSphere, SRM, VDI, VSAN, NSX ...)
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetis, OpenShift ...)
  • Systems management and orchestration (VMware vRealize Suite, RedHat Satellite,
  • HP OM, Ansible, Puppet ...)
  • Platform Security
