Senior Buyer for Facilities Hard/Soft

The Supply Chain Department is responsible for the sourcing, contracting and oversight of performance & risk Management of the Group non-payroll-related category management. The Department manages sourcing and procurement contracts within different categories throughout the Group and within the procurement policies, methodology, tools and processes.

We are looking for a Senior Buyer with 5-10 years' experience in procuring Facilities Hard & Soft purchases of goods and services who will allow to fill-in the gap during a temporary period.

Role

As Senior buyer for Facilities, your main objectives are to ensure continuity on Category Management, Internal Client Management following up on business needs including execution RFP and medium complexity of contracts and PR/PO, Supplier Management while ensuring quality assurance of a well-controlled environment as follows:

Internal Client Management:

  • Develop and maintain key business relationships and effectively influence client business owners, and compliance with procurement policies and practices.
  • Identifies and works effectively with key stakeholders on cross-team projects or problems.

Supplier Management:

  • Develop, maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and information.
  • Obtain best value for money from the supply market and ensure healthy cross-supplier competition and negotiate best contractual terms.
  • Leverage Key Performance Indicator (KPI), scorecard development, quarterly and/or semi-annual business reviews, supplier summits and contract dispute management to efficiently manage supplier delivery.

Quality Management and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with policies and processes and work with business to rectify areas of concern.
  • Drive supplier remediation for contractual compliance issues.

Profile

  • You have 5-10 years of experience in Facilities procurement/sourcing and contracting activities, with a particular focus on management of Real Estate contracts and the Facility Building Services including all service required to the requirements in the fields of safety, fire protection, comfort, energy management, services and power distribution.
  • You have excellent negotiation skills.
  • You act along the desired Code of Conduct, amongst others, you are sensitive to the confidentiality of information and ethics are key to you.
  • You are a team player with a collaborative leadership and excellent client relationship skills.
  • You are capable to work under pressure and to keep focus on the best corporate solution.
  • Your written and oral English is fluent. Any other language is a plus.
  • You have analytical skills and you are used to work in cross-functional project teams.
