Description
The successful individual will lead the IT Security Operations function to ensure that the IT Security strategy and governance satisfies industry best practice and mitigates operational risks to meet the needs of the business.
You will lead and build the IT Security Services team consisting of Security Analysts, Architects, Designers, Technical Security, Vulnerability Management and Security Assurance, build capability and performance using effective mechanisms, methodologies, practices and processes to improve the effectiveness of Security Services.
The function requires an individual to be a solid coach and mentor for a developing team of individuals and will have the ability to grow the team in terms of headcount and maturity.
The successful individual will be well versed in first line security practices & tooling, use of SIEM, endpoint security and advanced threat protection, vulnerability scanning, log retention etc Also be experienced in working with and managing a third party MSSP.
