We are currently looking for an IT Lead Architect for a 6-month contract in Lyon, France. Participate in critical and/or strategic projects as well as prioritized projects. Lead competence networks and communities both locally and globally as well as contribute to the IT methodology area and knowledge sharing. Design IT solutions and make strategic technology choices, directly supervising the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components.
IT Lead Architect
An Architect in this focus area, works to secure the overall architectural quality for a specific project. The lead architect is responsible for fact based architectural decisions that secure the business value and keep the total cost of ownership for the IT investment as low as possible.
Requires a holistic view of the enterprise, its business capabilities, processes, information model and supporting IT portfolio.
Requires a combined understanding of business needs with the IT solution Requires a balanced understanding of long term and short term perspectives Works with architectural artefacts supporting the IT solution design (eg data model, infrastructure set up description, solution architecture design, integration maps, infrastructure models, etc.) Requires documentation and communication skills, related to architectural assumptions, requirements and designs to both technical and non-technical audience.
Responsibilities:
- Take the role as Lead Architect of projects
- Manage the technical quality aspects of an IT solution
- Deliver an architecture in accordance to the EA framework that:
- Create architectural description including reasons for architectural decisions and considerations
- Make sure technical, process and information quality are at appropriate levels
- Ensure that the designed solution supports business policies, strategy and stakeholders concerns
- Suggest alternative solutions and point out deficiencies related to quality requirements
- Secure the right technical competence for the resources
- Contribute to the initial assessment of the feasibility of business requirements
- Identify influencing factors for the solution (eg communication mechanisms, process life cycles, concurrency requirements, security)
- Explain and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders
- Ensure a solid architecture even in heterogeneous IT Solution

- Proven track record as an infrastructure architect in a multinational complex organization
- Proven experience from working as technical lead in projects
- Good understanding and practice in security and infrastructure areas, including virtual environments
- Understanding and working experience with integration methods
- Knowledge of financial domain is a bonus
- Knowledge of Russian language
