Software Development Engineer in Test
Minimum Requirements: (Must have Qualifications)
1. 5+ years of experience in QA or software development in an agile environment.
2. 3+ years of experience in the automation of software testing in Python.
3. Experience in Python 3.0.
Desired Skills/Qualifications/System Experience requirements:
1. Familiarity with continuous integration.
2. Familiarity with writing automation scripts for networking media applications.
3. Familiarity with open source tools like GStreamer and OpenCV.
4. Exposure to communication networking protocols.
5. Exposure to cryptography.
6. Exposure to video and audio encoding, and processing techniques and technologies.
What you'll do
You'll work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality features for Cisco's industry-leading, Real Time enterprise collaboration products.
You'll facilitate the accelerated delivery of new features by contributing to the continuous improvement of the Python-based test automation infrastructure and creating new, fully-automated tests in Python.
You'll have significant influence over the test strategy within your team and will help to define test plans, test specifications and test cases.
You'll work closely with software developers and key stakeholders to promote quality and spearhead best practices throughout the entire software development process.
You'll analyse test data and results to identify patterns and influence software quality.
Write, modify, and debug software to facilitate the accelerated delivery of high-quality features for Cisco's industry-leading, Real Time enterprise collaboration products. The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Python-based test automation infrastructure and create new, Python fully automated tests.
