Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for a number of Procurement Specialist to work within their team, based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This role will involve working with key senior stakeholders and public sector procurement experience is essential.
Key skills:
* Proven track record in the delivery of the full end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, supplier and contract management and negotiation.
* Strong numerical and situational analysis skills with the ability to draw out key messages and findings to make recommendations and/or support decisions at senior levels.
* Strong interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills with experience of building and maintaining relationships at all levels and working in collaboration with internal and external colleagues
* Strong communications and engagement skills with proven ability to articulate complex procurement and commercial issues clearly and succinctly to range of internal and external stakeholders.
