Description

We are Recruiting for Technical Author for a Client in Cork on an initial 3 - 6 month contract, paying between Euros a day

The Client in currently in the process of building a new product platform and have a customer who has been identified as first to take an early version of the new product later this year. At a high level the platform we are building will be initially used by a customer to control a high speed manufacturing line and involves integrations to various machine vision systems, printers, PLC's and other line devices. This is a customer who we have already delivered multiple manufacturing lines to, and this project is targeted at making the software more performance, and better able to scale with the customer needs.

After the first delivery we will be focusing on building out the other major functional areas that the majority of our customers would expect for this type of application.

The development of the product is well in hand, and we have need for someone capable of authoring validation documentation (Functional and Design/Interface Specifications) for the platform.

The FS document is in process of being completed and describes the process in more detail. The scope of this requirement is limited to documenting the Interface Design Specification that details how the software interfaces with the devices on the line including but not limited to inspection cameras, printers, PLC's, Lights and RFID reader/writers. Although there will be a need to document the internal software interfaces. The first priority will be to build a document that we can supply to the customer the second priority is that the document is useful and contributes to the build of the product.

The role involves working with the development team and documenting the existing developments and working to get ahead of the current work.

We need someone who has a good understanding of validation documentation (ideally having worked in a validated environment previously) and who is capable of producing high quality documents with support from myself and the rest of the development team.

The platform we are building is based on Microservices which are communicating via an event bus. We are using .NET Standard and .NET Core with REST/JSON/JWT. Familiarity with these technologies is useful but not essential.
