Freelance role Data Platform Engineer Azure in Amsterdam
Assignment
You will be Part of the platform team that maintains and evolves the Big Data ecosystem within the company (Data Lake, ETL, Analysis tooling). The day to day includes automating the deployment of components on top of AWS services, Python development of ETL pipelines, and support to Data Scientists with their tooling and code review. The AWS environment is going to be converted to Azure so you should have good knowledge on that front.

(AWS, Azure [EMR, EC2, S3, ECS, Glue, Lambda], Python, Terraform, Docker)
Characteristics
- Hands on experience on Cloud infrastructure design and implementation
- Continuous delivery making use of diverse toolset
- Background as Full Stack Developer
- Proficient in automation
- Technical leadership role in multi-cultural teams
- Excellent customer facing skills and experience on pre-sales roles
- Comfortable presenting to mixed technical/business audiences

- Start in July (long term project)
- Extension is very likely
- Workweek of 40 hours

- Rate around Euros 85, - an hour all-in
