Description
JAVA Developer with a background in working within Investment Banking is required by a leading Financial Services company based in London.
The company is working on a Compliance project at a Tier 1 Investment Bank in London, this project is based on a system for compliance around MiFID II, EMIR and CFTC (DODD FRANK).
As the JAVA Developer, you will be part of the compliance development team based at the bank in the City.
You will be working on the day to day support and ongoing development of the Regulatory/Compliance system, with a view to starting work on a new greenfield system focusing on Brexit and SFTR next year. They require a solid JAVA developer with strong Core Java, Spring and experience of developing high performance, multi-threaded and distributed systems.
Experience:
- Strong Core Java/Server Side Development Object Orientated Design
- Must have Java 8 experience
- Multi-Threading Spring Frameworks/Design Patterns
- Experience with developing web services - REST/SOAP
- Must have RDBMS - Oracle/SQL Server experience with ability to model and identify database experience
- Must have messaging/integration experience - JMS/Spring Integration/Camel/Mulesoft etc
- Agile testing approaches (Cucumber/TDD)
- Spring Core
- Continuous build tools like Maven/Jenkins/SVN/GIT
- Financial Services/Investment Banking is a must
- Regulatory/Compliance or trade booking/management/life cycle experience (MiFID II, EMIR, DODD-FRANK, BREXIT, SFTR)
