Senior FPGA Design Engineer
We are working with a huge Aerospace and Space company involved in a lot of huge projects. They work with one of the biggest Aerospace manufacturers in the world and they are currently working on some exciting projects on cutting edge technology within their respective fields of expertise. As a company they have been around for around a century and have been leaders in their field ever since.

Roles of the Senior FPGA Design Engineer
- Working with the microelectronics engineer to port over VHDL code on an FPGA/ASIC for an aerospace application.
- Compliance with the Technical Specification, the Architecture Document and other documents from the downstream V-cycle will also need to be ensured.
- Participation in audits (EASA etc.)
- Understanding of the integration of a digital core based on the AMBA standard (AHB/APB).
Requirements of the Senior FPGA Design Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA Development within Aerospace working with the DO254 certification.
- Fundamentals of digital and analog electronic systems, based on Microprocessor/Microcontroller architecture
- Knowledge of Linux commands is a plus
- Knowledge of C, C ++ is a plus
- Good background working with DOORS and with MATLAB/SIMULINK.
