Description
Our client is looking for a Wireless Embedded Software Engineer to join their project based in Luxembourg on a satellite mission, being the main Embedded software engineer in the team and being responsible for the Embedded software design on the radio of the payload.
Location: Luxembourg
Rate: Negotiable
Duration: Initial 12 months (possibility of extension upon completion of this initial contract)
Hours per week: 40 hours
Main requirements:
- M.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
- Experienced with Embedded software development for telecommunication and radio systems and complex S/W debugging.
- Proven experience with Software-Defined Radios and GNU Radio.
- Programming experience in at least one high level language (C, C++, Object-Oriented design, etc.)
- Experience implementing wireless protocols in Layer 1.
- Experience with MATLAB-to-C conversion tools.
- Experience in working with current telecommunication standards.
