Description

The successful candidate will take accountability for development activities of the satellite mission. This person will be responsible for the Digital Signal Processing software and algorithm design for the telecoms data and the units of the telecommunication network.

Location: Luxembourg

Rate: Negotiable

Duration: initial 12-months contract (possibility of extension after this point)

Hours per week: 40 hours

Main requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
  • Experience as R&D Engineer for Real Time DSP algorithms for digital communication systems/telecommunication systems.
  • Previous exposure to GNU radio and software defined radio (SDR).
  • Sound knowledge of Scripting language.
  • Demonstrated experience with industry standard simulation tools (ie Matlab, C/C++, etc ).
  • Experience with telecommunications standards

Desirable skills:

  • Ph.D. in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or any related field.
  • Experience and contributions in one or more of the following telecommunications standards: IEEE, ETSI, 3GPP, GSMA, etc.
  • Experience with communication modem design and development.
  • Previous experience in satellite communication.
  • Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog.
