Network Support Engineer - New York USA
My client, a major technology company is currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join them on an initial 6 month contract based in New York USA.
The successful Network Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong network support skills
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches
- Strong knowledge, as relates to routing over dual-carrier environments, MPLS, QoS, NetFlow, BGP
- Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience of Data Center networking including NX-OS
- Experience of Cisco Meraki Security Appliances
- Experience with F5 GTM, LTM, APM, ASM
- Experience with Aruba wireless controllers, WAPs, ClearPass, and Airwave
- Experience with Riverbed WAN accelerators
- Excellent customer service understanding
- Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking capabilities, excellent communication skills, and ability to clearly document solutions
- Must have technical proficiency with routing and switching protocols, network design, deployment, and management.
