Description

Data & Application Engineer

Main Tasks:

  • Managing Information Systems
  • Driving the evolution of existing Information Systems
  • Providing the necessary support to the users

Responsibilities:

  • Structure/adapt the Databases in line with Business/data science major versions needs.
  • Setup and maintain new data flows the data scientists need for their models.
  • Maintain and gain more experience with cloud services from Azure. Use this knowledge to help the data scientist developing new models.
  • Manage the Master Data of the model/Mass uploads.
  • Refactoring of coding prior to industrialisation. Industrialize validated machine learning models.
  • Implement some minor evolutions of the model itself (Minor versions, the major ones still being to be managed in project mode).
  • Manage evolutions of the different user interfaces built around the model (data loads of operational data into the model, rule engine, ).
  • Perform testing ( non-regressions & new versions)

Skills:

  • Experienced in running and maintaining production applications (Machine Learning Models)
  • Experienced programmer (Java, JavaScript, Python, Tomcat, git, CI/CD, )
  • Experienced cloud user (Azure)
  • Experience in SQL/Database
  • Willingness to learn other technologies that may emerge in the fast-moving data science world
  • Time management and strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Good knowledge of English is mandatory
