Systems Engineer - Powershell
An international financial organisation is urgently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructures related to a number of services.
Your day to day responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems
- Monitor application performance
- Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies
- Write scripts (Powershell) to increase efficiency
- Participate in design
- 2nd/3rd level support
- Problem management
This is with an international financial company therefore some experience in banking or the financial industry would be required.
From a technical perspective, the below skills are required to fulfil this position:
- Active Directory
- Operating system support
- Networks
- LDAP
- Authentication strategies (Smartcards)
- Patching and software management
- EXPERT in Powersheel Scripting
English speaking required.
