Electronic Design Team Lead - RF Systems



I'm currently recruiting for an Electronic Design Team Lead, to work based in Bournemouth for my client in the aerospace industry.

On a daily basis, you'll be working on an exciting project, in the design and development of a range of training pods for the MoD. You will also:

- Be responsible for implementing design review practise in accordance with project governance

- Manage the engineering pipeline to ensure skills are in the right place at the right time

- Manage workload pipeline

- Collaborate with Project Managers to discuss project needs to minimise project risk

- Manage cost, schedule and technical performance of the team's work scope

- Support the teams in bed and proposal activities

They are looking for candidates with the following experience:

- Must have a proven track record of RF Systems (Communications, Radar and Electronic Warfare systems)

- Experience contributing to the design of RF products

- Strong leadership skills, ability to Matrix manage

- Strong technical report writing skills

- Experience in managing an Electronic Design Team

- Proven track record and significant experience at technical management level of radar, electronic warfare, surveillance and communications systems

- You will be working with sensitive data and as such you should be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline) & Disclosure Barring Service Checks before being able to commence the contract
