Omnia are currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to be based in Poland for a 6 month contract
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
- Build an SRE Model based on SRE and DevOps Practices putting forward a Telemetry Strategy (Middleware, Solution and Code instrumentation standards)
- Implement the SRE model based on PMI guidelines along with the PMI Service Manager leveraging available tooling and automation
- Ensure the transition of SRE mode to support the Operational activities on daily basis for the IIOT Platform
- Coordinate 1st level support and qualify 2nd level demand
Experience in DevSecOps;
- Git/Bitbucket + (other Atlassian Suite components such as Jira and Confluence)
- Docker
- OpenShift for CaaS
- VMware for IaaS (vRealize, VR Ops)
- Jenkins for CI/CD
- Ansible/AWX for Infrastructure as a Code
- Experience in Business Continuity practices including High-Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup/restore
Exposure to;
- ElasticSearch
- Prometheus
- Instrumentation and Telemetry standards
- Application Performance Management tools (eg New Relic, Dynatrace, etc.)
