Android Developer - Norway, Oslo
NextLink is having an existing position as an Android Developer for global projects in Norway, Oslo for our core client within banking/finance industry.
General information:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Extension: An extension is planned, but needs to be approved.
Work load: 100% (5 days on site)
Work location: Norway, Oslo
Remote: Not possible
Must haves:
- Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
- Good knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience with Kotlin for Android, Android SDK and AndroidStudio
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong knowledge in MVVM architecture and repository pattern.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience with Dagger, Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Bug fixing and improving application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Have published at least one original Android app
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
