NK434 IBM Sterling File Gateway expert; Banking, Brussels
BACKGROUND
Our client has implemented an automated file transfer service enabling file exchange between internal and external applications. The service is based on IBM - formerly Sterling - solutions and they now need an expert to support them with the project demand and software maintenance.
Mission description
You'll be based in the Brussels office.
The mission consists in:
Contributing to the project delivery:
- Collect business requirements for new/changed File Transfer flows
- Propose design changes and identify required effort
- Deliver with the Middleware team the required changes
- Maintain and improve the IBM Sterling Middleware:
-Upgrade and patch existing software
- Contribute to the File Transfer service enhancements activities
- Improve security and operability of the service
Your profile
You have +5 years of experience with IBM Sterling software, namely: IBM File Gateway and IBM Connect: Direct. You are familiar with the following operating systems: z/OS, Tandem, Windows, and Linux. You have experience as a Middleware Engineer in the Financial Industry.
You are willing to work within a team where sharing of expertise and collaborative approach is key for reaching successful results.
You are willing to join the banks' Middleware engineering team, as a key expert. You are a team player, ready to coach/raise expertise of team members and help them delivering projects.
You are familiar with financial companies and understand the criticality and constrains of such IT environments. You are fluent in English.
