Description
Platform Systems Integration and Test Engineer (Vetronics) required to undertake the bellow responsibilities:
- Support the Electronic Architecture integration across all platforms.
- Identify, write and execute Integration and Commissioning scripts for the Electronic Architecture.
- Support prototype vehicle assembly, commissioning and verification trials for the EA subsystem.
- Carrying out root cause analysis on electrical and electronic systems and raise observation reports.
- Provide weekly information and metrics to the Platform EA SI&T Lead to facilitate management reporting.
- Participate in associated engineering meetings and reviews as required.
- Generate and maintain EA subsystem commissioning reports and status baselines.
The successful candidate will have the below skill/experience:
- Significant, engineering expertise (IT/Consumer Electronics/Communications/Messaging protocols/Defence Industry) in Systems Integration and Test of software and hardware.
- Ability to self-manage with little supervision, ensuring deadlines are achieved.
- Ability to meet challenging timescales.
- Good Analytical and Problem solving skills - Ability to work in a logical, structured manner across a complex system.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrable technical understanding of MilCAN, Ethernet, Serial, DDS and Power technologies.
- Familiar with diagnostic tools for both hardware and software investigations.
- Experience using Windchill PDM Link Product management toolset.
