Microsoft Collaboration Lead Architect - Amsterdam- 6 months
Our client, a market leading multinational technology company are looking for a Microsoft Unified Communications (Including Enterprise Voice) Lead Architect, to join them on a customer project based in Amsterdam. The assignment is an initial 6 month contract 3 days a week in Amsterdam for the first 3-6 months then much less moving over to Birmingham towards the end. The client can offer a competitive daily rate.
Role Overview:
- The successful candidate will be involved in undertaking pre-sales and post-sales optimization solution assurance for the client.
- A major part of the role will involve all related technical pre-sales activities including assessing customer's current environment through various capacity planning & monitoring activities, solution sizing activities, producing complex solution designs in line with Microsoft and AudioCodes (Or other SBC) best practises, producing solution configurations/Bill of materials, scoping professional services engagements, producing pres-ales documentations such as solution proposals & Statements of work.
Key Skills For This Role:
- As a client facing lead architect you need proven skills in designing and implementing Microsoft traditional and cloud infrastructure platforms to either large-scale private or public sector organisations.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate prior experience:
- A technical design expert of complex solutions, responsible for shaping customers thinking, capturing the customer requirements and designing and proposing robust, supportable and fit for purpose solutions that align both with a client's business drivers and maximises Fujitsu's ability to differentiate our Microsoft UC Voice services.
- To translate a customer's technical requirement into a fit for purpose and commercially viable solution in order to secure profitable business.
- Design, solution assurance and subject matter expert in; Exchange Server, Skype for Business Enterprise Voice, Microsoft Teams including advanced configurations for Direct Routing
- Real experience in designing complex global Skype Voice solutions is critical
- Experience with Office 365
- IP PBX Experience
- Experience with the following would be ideal: Enterprise voice, PSTN Calling and Conferencing, Persistent Chat Configuration and Deployment, Small Branch Appliance, Session Border Controller
- Understanding of Telecom protocols ie PRI, T-1, Bonded T-1, Metro Area Networks, E911, E164 Dialling, ISDN, SIP QOS, Least Cost Routing, Dial Plans, Global and User based policies
