Description

Electrical/Hardware Engineer

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Company designs and operates an Embedded computer that creates analytics software. Devices are mounted on trains and locomotives and continuously transmit IoT data to the Servers. More than 2000 users use this product every day.

Requirements

  • MSC in Electronics is a must have. 5y+ of experience in Hardware Design (mixed, or digital electronics) is required for the Senior position.
  • Experience of working in regulated environment. Railways TCMS, EN50155 and EN45545 experience a plus, otherwise you better be a fast reader and learner.
  • Strong PCB layout and design validation (we work with Altium Designer but if you know other CAD system you will learn fast)
  • At least intermediate level in C coding, although we would expect a senior hardware designer to be a proficient C coder. Python a plus.
  • Mechanical design experience is a plus (Fusion360/Solidworks)
  • Autonomous and excellent communicator (you should demonstrate such skills in applications).
