Description
The Senior ETL Developer is responsible for design, development and delivery of data from operational systems and files into a staging area, data warehouse, down streams data mart and Hadoop file systems. Will implement logical and physical design and that will include the implementation of architecture, design, development and standards. He/she has the experience to design the optimal performance strategy and manage the technical metadata across all ETL Jobs. Ideal candidate has knowledge of Big Data technologies to integrate the ETL process.
Requirements:

7+ years' experience with ETL development in Ab Initio

Ab Initio PDL and Metadata programming knowledge

Excellent ETL design, development and documentation skills

Ability to work on metadata driven re-usable architectural frameworks using Ab Initio's technical metadata

Should have knowledge of working various pattern of the data file, like XML, Hierarchical and flat

Proficiency in Unix Shell Script writing

Knowledge of CA7 Scheduling

Must have ability to conceptualize and advocate best practices, standards and procedures in delivering highly efficient solutions using Ab Initio

Experience with various Ab Initio tools including Metadata Hub, ExpressIT and Control Center
