Description
Our client in Glasgow require an experienced Communications Manager to join their team for 6 months, with possible extensions. You will be working on a high profile programme, providing input to a stakeholder engagement strategy and communications plan. The role will work closely with the Portfolio Stakeholder Engagement Manager, policy officials and special advisers. You will also be required to respond to press enquires and represent the team at external events.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Experience of strategic stakeholder engagement at a programme level, including the development of key messages.
* Good people skills and experience of developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and externals stakeholders.
* Strong planning and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise a number of competing priorities and challenges.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills, with a track record of analysing data and reporting on progress.
