Spring Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients.
Based in Oslo, Norway the client is looking for an Android Developer on an initial 6 month contract.
Experience Needed:
*Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
*Good knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
*Excellent technical knowledge and experience with Kotlin for Android, Android SDK and AndroidStudio
*Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
*Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
*Strong knowledge in MVVM architecture and repository pattern.
*Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
*Experience with Dagger, Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide.
*Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
*Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
*Bug fixing and improving application performance
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
*Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
*Have published at least one original Android app
*Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
