Full-stack PHP Developer:

We are looking for a full-stack web developer with at least 3 years' experience building feature-rich web applications. Applicants should have a solid foundation of PHP, SQL, CSS and Javascript. Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies would be useful. This is a remote position and the selected developer will be expected to work from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with our existing development team and our in-house UX designers to build bespoke feature-rich web applications
  • Support existing and develop further new components for our live SaaS solutions
  • Produce efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code for out eco-system
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Integration of data storage solutions

As well as the description above, we also require:

  • Full understanding of OOP programming and MVC architecture
  • Ready and able to work as part of a developer team
  • Solid Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github
  • Produce well-commented, well-documented, tidy and readable code
  • Fully aware of working, coding and security best-practices
  • Can work to a pre-defined coding style
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Knowledge and experience with PHP frameworks such as Codeigniter and Laravel
  • Able to come up with well thought-out and innovative solutions to programming problems
  • Can communicate verbally in English
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance
  • Proficient understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Contract:

  • Freelance
  • Full -time, initially 3 month contract
  • £200 Per day
