Full-stack PHP Developer:
We are looking for a full-stack web developer with at least 3 years' experience building feature-rich web applications. Applicants should have a solid foundation of PHP, SQL, CSS and Javascript. Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies would be useful. This is a remote position and the selected developer will be expected to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our existing development team and our in-house UX designers to build bespoke feature-rich web applications
- Support existing and develop further new components for our live SaaS solutions
- Produce efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code for out eco-system
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions
As well as the description above, we also require:
- Full understanding of OOP programming and MVC architecture
- Ready and able to work as part of a developer team
- Solid Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github
- Produce well-commented, well-documented, tidy and readable code
- Fully aware of working, coding and security best-practices
- Can work to a pre-defined coding style
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Knowledge and experience with PHP frameworks such as Codeigniter and Laravel
- Able to come up with well thought-out and innovative solutions to programming problems
- Can communicate verbally in English
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Proficient understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

- Freelance
- Full -time, initially 3 month contract
- £200 Per day
