Contract - 12 months +
£22 - £27 per hour
We are currently working with a leading Professional Services client in London who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a contract basis for 12 months.
Job Purpose:
To support the Payroll Operations, Security & Compliance Manager and work with the UK Payroll Associate Manager on an interim basis to provide additional senior level capacity and deliver key projects and programmes.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing high volume payroll
- Up to date knowledge of payroll best practice, legislation and regulation, tax compliance, redundancy calculations, severance tax requirements, sickness absence, maternity pay, etc Experienced in and knowledge of payroll systems
- Flexible, adaptable and attentive to detail
- Project management skills and experience of managing payroll projects
- Experience of developing and implementing continuous improvement within the payroll function
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) qualification and membership desirable
