IT Contracting and Procurement Analyst: Software: World Energy Oil Company

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a IT Contracting and Procurement Consultant to join an established. The individual should be a go-getter, able to operate with minimum supervision and drive projects to completion

The Role:

*Able to read IT software contracts and refer to requirements to determine whether there are any gaps
*Understanding of how large corporations work
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal
*Not shy to pick-up the phone to speak to stakeholders
*Good understanding of Contracting & Procurement guidelines and principles
*Able to identify contractual risks in IT contracts and raise them to the team lead
*Prior knowledge of SAP Ariba will be a plus but not essential
*Partnering with internal and external global stakeholders to ensure proper contract remediation

The Candidate:

Must have:
*Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT Procurement
*Very strong communication skills
*Ability to influence stakeholders at low to medium seniority levels

Nice to have:
*Good negotiation skills
*Team player with the ability to build relationships effectively
*Good understanding of Contract Law and contract execution experience of IT contracts
*Organized and able to prioritise tasks
*Advanced knowledge of MS Office with focus on MS Word and MS Excel
*Experience in SAP Ariba will be an advantage

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
