Description
Firewall Engineer is urgently required to work in Marseille, France on an initial 12 months contract for a multinational telecommunications company.The candidate must speak French and English.
Your main duties will be working in a global team that provides 24x7 supports on the customer's firewall infrastructure.
The ideal candidate must have experience in;
* Operational management, change management, monitoring the firewall infrastructure and incident management, as well as installing and operating supporting tools.
* Operating a network of 400+ Firewalls from different vendors (Checkpoint, Fortinet and Juniper technologies).
* Providing "eyes on glass" real-time monitoring in a 24x5 environment.
* Maintaining the VFO Knowledge Base.
* Perform incident management and root cause analysis.
* Establish, tune, and adhere to performance metrics.
* Stay up to date on new features and technologies.
* Provide proactive support to the client.
* Plan and manage the design, implementation, and integration of systems and processes related to operational management of firewalls.
