Als renommierte Personalberatung sind wir im Rahmen einer Direktsuche beauftragt, einen Interim Sales Director mit Sitz in Amsterdam zu suchen.
Bei unserem Klienten handelt es sich um eine europaweit agierende Leasinggesellschaft für Lokomotiven mit Schwerpunkt im Bereich Service und Instandhaltung in Süddeutschland.

Reporting to:

• Chief Investment Officer/ Chief Marketing Officer
Job purpose:

• The Interim Sales Manager is a senior sales executive, who is responsible for heading the sales department, renting out our locomotives to European rail operators and observing & achieving the company’s financial goals.

Education:
• Relevant Master or Bachelor degree in business, finance or related field

Location
• Amsterdam, international travel is required.

Languages
• English (main/ corporate language) and German. Any other European language will be considered as an advantage

Main Tasks:

Management
• Assure that all available locomotives of our client are leased out to customers.
• Lead the sales department consisting of a team of 8 junior and senior sales people and being responsible for preparing/ building the sales team for the future/ anticipated growth.
• Grow the entire client portfolio both in number of customers and turnover.
• Be a strong sales executive also directly responsible for assigned high profile customers.
• Provide regular feedback to management regarding the client base (including demand) and market developments.

Sales and Marketing
• Serve and manage existing customers, building sound relationships with them.
• Win and build contacts and relationships with new customers.
• Evaluate new potential customer as regards to the associated risks and recommend actions.
• Assist and work together with other divisions within the company to assure as optimal as possible operations of their locomotives.
• Assist customers with finding solutions for operational and technical problems as they may occur, in order to prevent disturbance of the customer’s operations.
