Description
Chief solution architect develops and promotes solution architecture framework, including architecture related processes, guidelines, principles, standards and governs compliance to it.
Chief solution architect creates and evolves solution architecture (applications, integrations, data and technology) that is aligned with business and IT strategies.
Chief solution architect proactively promotes usage of architecture principles, best practices to facilitate achievement of organizational objectives
At the same time Chief solution architect has responsibility of the solution architecture Unit and he/she builds and evolves a team of competent and motivated solution and enterprise/domain architects.
As a manager he/she is responsible to ensure that all change activities in the bank have sufficient architecture support is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the architecture framework in area of his/her responsibility.
12 Month contract
€500 per day+ Expenses paid
Main tasks and responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain documentation of the domain's current architecture and target architecture
2. Identify gaps between the domain's current and target architecture and develops roadmap to close gaps
3. Assess incoming changes regarding their impact to the domain's architecture and advise stakeholders
4. Constantly identifies opportunities to improve the domain's architecture
5. Articulates and manages risks and actively drives improvements
6. Guides and mentors solution architects regarding usage of architecture principles, best practices and processes
7. Develop solutions to challenges in order to achieve organizational objectives (project work)
8. Effective cooperation with Infrastructure architects, Security architects, Data architects, IT Operations, Software development organization and other stakeholders to provide effective solution architecture services
9. Hire necessary solution and enterprise/domain architects and manages daily work of the unit
10. Ensure all projects have sufficient architecture support and guidance (like peer reviews)
11. Lead development, implementation and maintenance of architecture framework in his/her domain's responsibility
12. Promote architecture framework at all levels of organization
13. Build relationships at all levels of organization to facilitate alignment among stakeholders
14. Ensure continuous growth of solution and enterprise/domain architects
15. Ensure high motivation level of solution and enterprise/domain architects
16. Participate in Architecture Board as permanent member
17. Initiate Proof of Concept, Proof of Technology, Proof of Value activities

3) Prior experience working with various types of application integrations, banking platforms, payment systems, card systems, ERP systems, data platforms, cloud services, etc.
4) Ability to create quality artefacts
5) Project management skills
6) Min 5+ years experience as enterprise architect, IT architect, solution architect or CTO
7) Many years of hands on work in designing solution architectures
8) Experience with IT audits and IT standards and frameworks
Professional experience:

More than 5 years
IT-related professional experience, preferably covering several domains
Practical experience in roles of solution, domain, business or enterprise architect is a must
Managerial experience (preferably in international environment)
