GIS Consultant - QGIS/ArcGIS
Our client, part of the United Nations and based in Rome, is looking for a GIS Consultant to work on a 50 day project in Rome.
The client location is based just 20 minutes from the Historic Centre, and near the Metro, access to the City is excellent whilst not paying City Centre accommodation costs. Flights to and from Rome during the period before Xmas have historically been priced very reasonably
You will have:
- Proven experience with spatial data management and processing
- Experience in QGIS, ArcGIS and/or another GIS software at advanced user level
- Experience in remote sensing platforms
- Ideally experience in some of PostGRE, PostGIS, Geoserver, Geonode and GDAL
On top of that you will be an excellent problem solver, a great team player and speak fluent English
