Description
Operator Manager urgently required for our Central Government, Glasgow based client on a 6 month initial contract + possible extensions.You will be responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the delivery of day to day service operations responsibilities. You will coordinate the delivery of responsibilities with other colleagues to ensure information flow about planned roadworks in an adequate time and in advance of the roadworks taking place. You will also support the wider Resilience Team with proactive and reactive response to events/ incidents/ roadworks/ severe weather on the network.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of IT and able to produce written work of a good standard, and should ideally have a technical background in Communication equipments and knowledge of procedures and workings. Central Government experience is preferred however not essential.
