RIZE are looking to recruit a number of experienced Telecommunications Surveyors for a contract position in Ireland.
Our client is one of the market-leading service companies working alongside major telecommunications operators in the UK and Ireland.
We are looking for experienced Surveyors with valid climbing certificates to fulfil the following contract:
Position: Wireless Surveyor
Location: Ireland - Nationwide
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Length: 6 Month Extendable
Scope of Works
- Observe client specific site access procedures (log on and off site)
- Carry out risk assessments on site prior to work commencing and report any visible hazards or defects from site by way of a red flag
- Implement control measures as required to enable the survey to be completed in a safe manner
- Obtain & accurately record all existing site information and propose the optimal solution based on client specification and any known constraints
- Complete the following site surveys on Greenfield, CoLo and Rooftop Sites; o Multi Skilled Visit o Technical Site Survey o Visual Impact o Line of Site o Pre-Construction Survey/Pre-Installation Visit o Post Construction Survey o Structural Climb-down
- Survey for new build and upgrade scopes of work - Survey for passive and active scopes of work
- Propose value engineered solutions for the following elements; o Civils - Access Tracks, Structure Foundations & Plinths o Power & Fibre Routes o Structure Types o Active Equipment/Solutions
- Collate the information gathered in a concise manner incl. survey notes, sketches, photos and present it clearly for submission to the client
- Compile all project specific reports and associated documentation with a strong focus on quality, deadlines and deliverables
- Liaise with PMO throughout
- Assist with resolving any queries to enable sites to progress to Design as quickly as possible
- Climbing on towers & monopoles
Requirements
You will need to have valid climbing certifications, the following of which are listed:
- Climbing & Rescue
- Rooftop
- Safepass
- ESBT
- CIE
- RTE/2rn
