Description
Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major Public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting for a role of Senior Operational Researcher based in Fareham.
ROLE DETAILS
Minimum Requirement:
- Understanding of Logistics.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge and experience of both qualitative (eg problem-structuring methods, facilitation) and Quantitative (eg discrete event simulation, systems dynamics) Operational Analysis (OA) and scientific analysis techniques, and their use in solving problems.
- An ability to convey complex issues in a clear and concise way, including relevant caveats, both verbally and in written form.
- Good communication skills and experience of presenting to a range of audiences.
- An ability to effectively organise/prioritise your workload and where appropriate, to provide assistance to others to do the same.
- An understanding of logistics data systems.
Desirable:
- Familiar with Procurement in particular (Requirement and life cycles).
- Familiar with organising technology trials and demonstrations.
- Knowledge of wider Industry Logistics.
