Our client is seeking AV Support Technician (AVST II) (full time 40 hrs a week or part time 30-25 hrs a week)

AV Support Technician to provide support and management of fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms and large complex environments such as auditoriums. The AVST interfaces daily with the customer and acts as an extension of their team. His/her responsibilities generally include the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components/equipment. The AVST works in cooperation with the customer's management team in support of their equipment and user community. This position is a key part of the overall relationship between S&L and the customer, insuring the needs of the client are prioritized and met in accordance to project and support goals.

Oversee conference/meeting room equipment to ensure they are operational and ready for daily use. Bi-weekly testing the conference room systems, perform preventive maintenance to limit system downtime and report deficiencies or conditions to the A/V Specialist. If an issue is identified that cannot be quickly resolved, contact the end user who has scheduled the conference room and assist with recommending an alternate location. Clean and reset rooms bi-weekly. Stop by conference rooms at the end of the day to confirm the A/V equipment has been turned off.

Act as point of contact for end-user submitted trouble tickets, track through resolution and communicate status updates to the end users; and coordinate with outside service vendors as needed.
Assist end users in the usage of conference room equipment; and possess a high level of proficiency with commonly utilized presentation software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.) and video conferencing platforms (Skype for Business, WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc.).
Setup and support AV equipment for training sessions, presentations, meetings, etc. Secure exterior conference room doors.
Create and maintain AV equipment inventory database for all client locations.
Actively participate in personal and professional development and maintain knowledge of current technology and emerging trends.

Qualifications:
A minimum four (4) years of experience in the operation and support of integrated audiovisual and presentation technology systems, ie, sound reinforcement, video conferencing, meeting room collaboration equipment, video projection, and similar technologies.
Working knowledge of networked audiovisual systems, topologies and architecture.
Basic understanding of troubleshooting complex audiovisual systems.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills with both internal customers and external vendors.
Software proficiency including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, WebEx, Polycom RealPresence and Skype for Business and experience working with digital signage, cloud storage and design tools.
