Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Solution Owner to work on a contract role for a major Retail company located in Helsingborg, Sweden. This is a contract position and runs until August 2020.
Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of IT service delivery within the assigned platform area, eg operations, IT support, life cycle management and IT Service continuity management including IT Service performance in accordance with service level agreements
- Lead and operate in all aspects of IT Service Delivery including ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and other requirements
- Accountable for operational supplier management, eg responsibility for operational delivery and handling of system failures and new version rollouts
- Establish internal and external agreements as required to fulfil SLA for the platform
- Manage platform budget, eg budget and forecasts, follow up cost development and proactively drive improvements in cost efficiency
- Continually review and align license forecast and to ensure license compliance
- Support the Platform Operations Manager with insights for balancing the need to implement the platform roadmap and ensuring platform availability and performance
- Support the Platform Operations Manager with managing successful releases of changes to the applications as needed
- Contribute with insights to relevant forums related to the platforms
- Help in applying best practice in service operations, continually driving to improve service and performance
Required Skills:
- Experience of IT/Technology service operations and management including release management
- Knowledge and experience of toolsets used to manage and monitor applications and infrastructure
- Knowledge about the systems they are responsible for
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Should have 3 - 5 years experience as either a Solution Owner, Project Manager or Service Operations Owner. It is also wished but not required to have Business Analyst and Solution Architect background.
