Cloud Migration Expert is required for a long-term contract position with a major blue chip client in Brussels - Belgium
The Cloud Migration Expert must have the following skills and experience.
Job Description
- Experience in AWS cloud migration of on-premise application.
- At least 8+ years of experience in implementing IT solutions for B2B and B2C applications
- Solid hands-on experience with Java, Java EE, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, JMS, SOAP, REST, Maven, GIT/SVN, Microservices, IBM MQ, UC4
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra
- Experience with Scrum, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration environments. Full-cycle experience in implementing IT solutions in agile mode
- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures, SOAP and RESTful web services and JSON
- Experience with AWS services - CloudFront, API Gateway, SQS, S3, Aurora, Lambda
- Experience with Node JS, Express JS, React, Angular
- Lead discussions with client leadership architecture issues, options and recommendations
- Analytical skills, capable of conceptualizing solutions
- Identify key architecture risk items in enterprise solution designs
- Design creative solutions for complex technical requirements
- Mentor development team members and troubleshoot complex implementation issues
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Dynamic and a team player
- A passion for tackling difficult technical issues and creating compelling technical solutions
