ELK Consultant is required for 3-6 months + extensions

Role Profile

The ELK consultant will:

  • Will work remotely.
  • Ensure ELK architecture and configuration is appropriately implemented for multiple managed service clients.
  • Assist in client deployment:
  • Set-up of new clients within ELK.
  • Configure client specific data sets.
  • Configure clients specific queries.
  • Configure and electronically publish client specific reports to client specific SLAs.
  • Configure and manage integration to feeder systems eg SAP Solution Manager, CPM etc.
  • Manage the implementation of ELK agents on clients systems where needed.
  • Assist in the operational management and reporting:
  • Day to day administration of ELK.
  • Assist our service delivery teams in creating ad-hoc queries.
  • Configure, monitor and manage integration to our Service Management tool SysAid.
  • Manage and deliver future ELK upgrades.

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of all components of the ELK stack with 3 full end to end implementations are a pre-requisite
  • Expertise in the setup and analysis of data from the X-PACK anomaly detection component
  • ELK architecture will be considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of working on an AWS environment would be a distinct advantage
  • Skills in the area of creating, modifying and maintaining Kibana and Grafana dashboards is essential
