ELK Consultant is required for 3-6 months + extensions
Role Profile
The ELK consultant will:
- Will work remotely.
- Ensure ELK architecture and configuration is appropriately implemented for multiple managed service clients.
- Assist in client deployment:
- Set-up of new clients within ELK.
- Configure client specific data sets.
- Configure clients specific queries.
- Configure and electronically publish client specific reports to client specific SLAs.
- Configure and manage integration to feeder systems eg SAP Solution Manager, CPM etc.
- Manage the implementation of ELK agents on clients systems where needed.
- Assist in the operational management and reporting:
- Day to day administration of ELK.
- Assist our service delivery teams in creating ad-hoc queries.
- Configure, monitor and manage integration to our Service Management tool SysAid.
- Manage and deliver future ELK upgrades.
Skills required:
- Knowledge of all components of the ELK stack with 3 full end to end implementations are a pre-requisite
- Expertise in the setup and analysis of data from the X-PACK anomaly detection component
- ELK architecture will be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of working on an AWS environment would be a distinct advantage
- Skills in the area of creating, modifying and maintaining Kibana and Grafana dashboards is essential
