Description

A Validation and Verification Engineer is required for an initial six month assignment based in Bristol.

Candidates MUST have worked in the UK Defence environment within the last 12 months to be considered.

Sea Venom is a collaborative UK/France programme to develop the latest generation air-launched anti-ship missile system. The project is in the qualification stage of the project life cycle. The V&V Engineer role is to support the head of the PDLT sub-system in gathering qualification evidence to support the successful certification of the sub-system and delivery of the certificate of design into the customer. Tasks:

Manage and maintain the Design Verification Plan (DVP) and Requirements Verification Module (RVM). Support the Weapon System V&V Lead in the implementation of the multi-national V&V plan, ensuring sufficient and suitable evidence is available for the UK and France Progressive Assurance and Certificate of Design (CofD) processes. Ensure the necessary Hardware and Software evidence is available and is populated in the DOORS RVM. Review all evidence to ensure suitability, utilising relevant stakeholders with specific knowledge across the project.

The role requires a well organised self-motivated qualified engineer with excellent communication skills. DOORS practitioner.
